Earthy Tabs – Trademark Usage Policy

This Trademark Usage Policy ("Policy") explains how the Earthy Tabs name, logos, brand assets, and related trademarks may be used. It applies to partners, distributors, affiliates, retailers, agencies, media outlets, and anyone referencing Earthy Tabs in commercial or public-facing materials.

By using any Earthy Tabs trademarks, you agree to follow this Policy in full.

1. Our Trademarks

The following marks are owned by Earthy Tabs ("we", "our", "us"):

  • Earthy Tabs® (word mark)
  • Earthy Tabs logo (primary and secondary marks)
  • Earthy Tabs icon and symbol
  • Earth-themed brand graphics and proprietary packaging design
  • Taglines, slogans, and branded formulas where applicable

All trademarks, whether registered or unregistered, are protected under Australian and international IP laws.

2. Permitted Usage

You may use Earthy Tabs trademarks only if:

  • You have written permission from Earthy Tabs
  • You are an authorised partner, distributor, affiliate, wholesaler, or media outlet
  • Your use follows the guidelines in this Policy
  • Your use is truthful, accurate, and not misleading
  • Your use does not imply any partnership, endorsement, or affiliation that doesn't exist

Examples of permitted use (with approval):

  • Using our name and logo to promote official Earthy Tabs products
  • Displaying approved assets on your website or marketing channels
  • Including Earthy Tabs product visuals in wholesale or retail listings
  • Media coverage that refers to Earthy Tabs accurately and fairly

3. Prohibited Usage

You may not use Earthy Tabs trademarks in any way that:

  • Implies partnership or endorsement without written approval
  • Suggests that you own or created the Earthy Tabs brand
  • Is false, misleading, or damaging
  • Is associated with unsafe, illegal, discriminatory, or unethical activity
  • Alters, distorts, stretches, recolours, or changes the logo
  • Places the logo on unapproved merchandise or packaging
  • Combines Earthy Tabs trademarks with other brands to create hybrid marks
  • Registers or attempts to register a domain, company, social account, or product using our name or confusingly similar variations

Examples of prohibited actions:

  • "earthytabs-cleaning.com" domain
  • Creating your own Earthy Tabs-style logo
  • Using Earthy Tabs branding to sell unrelated products
  • Packaging products to appear affiliated with Earthy Tabs
  • "Powered by Earthy Tabs" without permission
  • Editing the logo or colours
  • Using our trademarks in advertising for products we do not supply

4. Logo & Brand Asset Rules

To keep the brand consistent and clear:

4.1 Do Not Alter the Logo

  • No recolouring
  • No stretching or compressing
  • No shadows, distortions, glows, or filters
  • No adding text or graphics on top of the logo

4.2 Clear Space

Always leave a minimum clear space around the logo equal to the height of the "E" in Earthy Tabs.

4.3 Minimum Size

The logo must remain clear and legible—do not reduce it below the approved minimum size provided in our brand kit.

4.4 Backgrounds

Use only solid or approved brand backgrounds for the logo.

Avoid low-contrast or busy images that reduce readability.

5. Use of "Earthy Tabs" in Text

When referring to us in written content:

  • Always spell Earthy Tabs correctly
  • Do not shorten, modify, or create variations (e.g., "Earthy", "TabsCo", "ETabs")
  • Use "Earthy Tabs®" on first prominent mention when appropriate

Acceptable examples:

  • "Earthy Tabs cleaning tablets"
  • "Powered by Earthy Tabs®" (with approval)

Unacceptable examples:

  • "Tabs by Earthy"
  • "Earthy Clean Co."
  • "Tabsy Solutions"

6. No Ownership or Rights Granted

Using Earthy Tabs trademarks does not give you any ownership, license, or rights to the trademarks.

All rights remain exclusively with Earthy Tabs.

We may revoke permission at any time if use is inappropriate, misaligned, or non-compliant.

7. Third-Party Products & Co-Branding

Co-branded marketing, packaging, or product development requires written approval from Earthy Tabs.

Unapproved co-branding is strictly prohibited.

Examples requiring approval:

  • Distributor-packaged bundles
  • Retail store displays
  • Joint marketing campaigns
  • Event sponsorships using our trademarks

8. Domains, Social Media & Advertising

You may not use Earthy Tabs (or confusingly similar terms) in:

  • Domain names
  • Company names
  • Social media handles
  • Google Ads keywords (without approval)
  • App names
  • Product names
  • Page titles designed to impersonate Earthy Tabs

This prevents consumer confusion and brand dilution.

9. Reporting Trademark Misuse

If you become aware of unauthorised use of Earthy Tabs trademarks, please report it to:

We take trademark protection seriously and may pursue legal action if necessary.

10. Updates to This Policy

Earthy Tabs may update this Trademark Usage Policy at any time.

Changes take effect immediately upon publication.

Partners are responsible for reviewing the latest version and ensuring ongoing compliance.
