Earthy Tabs – Supplier Code of Conduct
Earthy Tabs is committed to building ethical, transparent, and sustainable supply chains. Our mission to reduce environmental waste sits alongside a responsibility to ensure every partner in our supply network upholds strong labour, environmental, and governance standards.
This Supplier Code of Conduct ("Code") outlines the minimum requirements and expectations for all suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, logistics partners, and service providers ("Suppliers") working with Earthy Tabs.
By entering into a partnership with Earthy Tabs, all Suppliers agree to comply with this Code and ensure that their own supply chains meet these standards.
1. Human Rights & Labour Standards
1.1 No Forced Labour
Suppliers must not use any form of forced, bonded, indentured, or involuntary labour.
Workers must be employed voluntarily, and free to terminate employment with reasonable notice.
1.2 No Child Labour
Suppliers must not employ workers below the minimum legal working age in their country, and under no circumstances below 15 years old.
Young workers (15–18) must not be engaged in hazardous work or night shifts.
1.3 Fair Wages & Benefits
Workers must receive:
- •At least the legal minimum wage for their region
- •Overtime rates as required by law
- •All legally mandated benefits (leave, insurance, contributions)
Deductions must be legal and transparent.
1.4 Working Hours
Working hours must comply with local laws and industry standards.
Excessive overtime, coercive scheduling, or unsafe shift patterns are strictly prohibited.
1.5 Non-Discrimination
Suppliers must provide a workplace free from discrimination based on:

- •Religion
- •Disability
- •Sexual orientation
- •Political affiliation
- •Nationality
- •Marital status
Equal opportunity must be upheld at all levels.
1.6 Freedom of Association
Workers must have the right to:
- •Form or join unions
- •Participate in worker committees
- •Engage in collective bargaining
Retaliation against workers for exercising these rights is prohibited.
2. Workplace Health & Safety
Suppliers must provide a safe, clean, and healthy working environment, including:
- •Adequate ventilation and temperature control
- •Proper sanitation facilities
- •Fire safety equipment and evacuation plans
- •Safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
- •Protective equipment (PPE) where required
- •Trained first-aid personnel
Facilities must comply with all applicable WHS/OHS regulations.
3. Environmental Responsibility
Earthy Tabs prioritises sustainability and expects Suppliers to:
- •Minimise waste, emissions, and environmental impact
- •Comply with environmental laws, permits, and regulations
- •Implement responsible waste management
- •Avoid hazardous ingredients where possible
- •Ensure environmental protection in chemical production
- •Monitor water usage and energy consumption
- •Reduce plastic output and promote recyclability
Suppliers who can demonstrate continuous environmental improvements will be prioritised.
4. Ethical Business Practices
4.1 Anti-Corruption and Bribery
Suppliers must not engage in:
- •Bribery
- •Kickbacks
- •Fraud
- •Extortion
- •Money laundering
Business decisions must be transparent and ethical at all times.
4.2 Transparency & Disclosure
Suppliers must disclose:
- •Plant locations
- •Subcontractors involved
- •Ownership structure
- •Any major compliance breaches
- •Any legal or regulatory investigations related to labour or environmental issues
Undisclosed subcontracting is strictly prohibited.
4.3 Conflict of Interest
Any relationship or situation that may create a conflict of interest must be openly disclosed to Earthy Tabs.
5. Modern Slavery Prevention
Suppliers must:
- •Conduct due diligence on labour practices
- •Ensure no recruitment fees are charged to workers
- •Maintain accurate employment records
- •Monitor subcontracting and labour agents
- •Allow external or internal audits when requested
- •Take corrective action immediately if risks are identified
Earthy Tabs maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery.
6. Quality & Product Compliance
Suppliers must ensure that all products, components, and raw materials provided to Earthy Tabs:
- •Meet agreed specifications
- •Are safe for use
- •Comply with relevant Australian and international standards
- •Are free from contamination or defects
- •Include accurate labelling, SDS documents, and testing reports where required
7. Audits, Monitoring & Compliance
Earthy Tabs may conduct:
- •On-site inspections
- •Third-party audits
- •Document requests
- •Worker interviews
- •Sustainability assessments
Suppliers must provide full access, cooperation, and transparency.
If violations are found, Earthy Tabs may require corrective actions within a specified timeframe.
In cases of severe or deliberate breach, Earthy Tabs reserves the right to suspend or terminate the relationship immediately.
8. Subcontracting Requirements
Suppliers must not subcontract any part of their production or services related to Earthy Tabs without written approval.
Approved subcontractors must also comply with this Code.
9. Data Privacy & Confidentiality
Suppliers must protect:
- •Customer data
- •Manufacturing specifications
- •Intellectual property
- •Forecasts, pricing, and plans
All sensitive information shared by Earthy Tabs must be kept confidential unless legally required otherwise.
10. Continuous Improvement
Earthy Tabs encourages suppliers to continuously improve ethical, social, and environmental practices.
We welcome suppliers who:
- •Use recycled content
- •Offer low-impact materials
- •Implement renewable energy
- •Reduce reliance on plastics
- •Improve worker welfare programs
- •Achieve certified standards (BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, FSC, etc.)
11. Reporting Concerns
Suppliers, workers, or external parties may report violations of this Code to:

Earthy Tabs will review reports confidentially and take appropriate action.
12. Acknowledgement
By supplying goods or services to Earthy Tabs, the Supplier confirms:
- •They have read and understood this Code
- •They agree to comply with the requirements
- •They will ensure all subcontractors and labour agents uphold these standards
- •They understand that failure to comply may result in corrective action or termination
This code is effective as of 11/11/2025 and may be updated from time to time.
